A Fresh Start

  Well Jeremy and I have now both made it to Spain. We live on a good size base on the coast of Spain. Rota is a great place with very nice people. Much like southern hospitality the south of Spain is just as cordial. If you walk out the front door of our home you find small town suburbia and if you walk out the back door you find the Atlantic Ocean.  We are right in the center of a nice sized bay where you can see 2 cities to our left and 1 on our right. Every day we look out and see local fisherman out on their tiny sail boats fishing for their catch to sell at the market that evening.
   People in Spain do a lot of their living at night so things like a fish market (which is a huge part of their culture) are open until 10 or 11pm. For some reason they just don't like the mornings here unless they have to farm or something. In fact most businesses don't open until as late as 6pm others are open for a few hours in the morning and then reopen at 4pm. It takes some getting use to.

   I got to visit the neighboring cities and took some pictures that I hope you enjoy and I am trying to start an English garden (herbs, roses, ivy, ect.).  I also have a lemon tree and aloe plant. I want to get an orange tree too. Plants are cheap here and easy to care for because the climate just seems to suite all types of plants here.
